These students will have work featured in this annual Pattonville publication. Students throughout the district were invited to write on the topic, “Responsible Citizenship.” This year’s edition is dedicated to Marvin Cartwright, a fifth-grade Drummond Elementary teacher who died last summer and was editor of the publication for 10 years. The new editor, Dan Derby, a fifth-grade teacher at Drummond, was one of Cartwright’s students in elementary school (and also a Pattonville graduate).

Students, family members, faculty and the community can hear some of these students read their written works at a reading and reception set from 5 to 6:30 p.m., Monday, April 20 in the cafeteria of Holman Middle School, 11055 St. Charles Rock Road in St. Ann.
