Newly elected board members sworn into office

Two board members were sworn into office during the April 14 meeting of the Pattonville Board of Education. Sworn into office were returning board member Ralph Stahlhut and new board member Jeanne Schottmueller. Pat Bryant, treasurer of the board and past president, did not seek reelection. Before the swearing-in ceremony, board members thanked Bryant for her nine years of service to the school district.

The board also voted on officers and annual appointments to various organizations. The newly elected officers are as follows: Ruth Petrov, president; Cindy Candler, vice president; Bob Dillon, secretary; and  Ralph Stahlhut, treasurer. Jeanne Schottmueller was appointed as the board's representative to the Pattonville Education Foundation. Bob Dillon was appointed as a delegate to the Missouri School Boards Association, with Ron Kuschel appointed as alternate. Kuschel was also appointed as board member to represent Pattonville on the Governing Council of the Special School District, with Patty Polster as alternate.
