The Pattonville School District announced the honorees for Pattonville Teacher of the Year and Pattonville Support Staff Employee of the Year during its annual District Appreciation Night. -Read-More- Phyllis Pasley, a vocal music teacher at Willow Brook Elementary, was named Pattonville Teacher of the Year. She was chosen for the district-level honor by a committee of staff and parents after being named Pattonville Elementary Teacher of the Year. Also finalists for the award were Twila Harris, a family and consumer science teacher, who was named Pattonville High School Teacher of the Year; and Patricia Stewart, vocal music teacher/drama teacher at Pattonville Heights Middle School, who was also named Pattonville Middle School Teacher of the Year. Julie Purviance, the lead cook at Rose Acres Elementary, was named Pattonville Support Staff Employee of the Year. She was chosen for the district honor from among a field of three finalists. The other finalists were: Rebecca Gillming, paraprofessional at Drummond Elementary School, and Michael Williams, a custodian at Drummond Elementary School.
