The presentation showed how Pattonville's planning progress and strategic plan has enabled the district to improve student achievement while addressing critical issues. The district's plan has provided a consistent focus for the district for nearly a decade because it is based on three main goals that have remained unchanged. Only the action steps to achieve those goals have been modified to meet changing needs. The three goals are:
  • Ensure that all students demonstrate significant improvement in their understanding and application of the state's academic standards;
  • Develop and implement building-level school improvement plans consistent with the district's strategic plan; and
  • Develop a plan that addresses critical issues.
