School districts in Missouri are required to update their strategic plans every five years. Pattonville’s  plan, known as the Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (or CSIP), is focused on the following three goals: improving student achievement for all students;  involving parents, students, staff and community members in the decision-making process for their schools through School Improvement Teams; and addressing critical issues such as finances and facilities.

This year, more than 200 parents, students, staff and community members played a role in developing the updated plan. A draft of the plan was presented to the Board of Education on April 28, and the board is approved the plan during its May 12 board meeting. Although the three overriding goals of the plan remain unchanged from previous years, the proposed plan includes updated strategies to help meet those goals.
