Alumni to host "Pattonville Idol" competition

The Pattonville Alumni Association will host its fifth annual “Pattonville Idol” competition as a way to raise funds for its scholarship program. The contest starts Feb 5.

The contest is open to any Pattonville alumni or staff and their immediate family members. Participants must be 18 or older. An application fee of $5 is required to participate in the contest. Contestants can participate in individual or group divisions (3 to 10 people maximum). The event is free for audience members and open to the public.

The contest will consist of three consecutive Fridays of karaoke, with eliminations each week. The rounds of competition will take place beginning at 7 p.m., Feb. 5, 12 and 19 at Limestone’s Bar and Grille, 12163 Pritchard Farm Drive in Maryland Heights. Trophies and prizes will be awarded. Audience votes determine finalists and the ultimate winner.
