Detective Kurt Hauser recently received a Medal of Valor award from the St. Louis Area Police Chiefs’ Association and the Crusade Against Crime of America. Det. Hauser periodically works at the Learning Center, serving in a security role for the Learning Center/Holman campus. -Read-More- Hauser was one of 21 officers in the St. Louis area to receive the award.  The Medal of Valor is awarded in recognition of a conspicuous act of bravery that exceeds the normal demands of police service. It expresses the community’s gratitude for the sound judgment demonstrated by an officer in the performance of his or her duty. -End-
